About Erica Philpot

Erica Philpot is a bicoastal professional performing artist who is always open to new experiences. Her artistic endeavors have allowed her to grace the stage of many prestigious venues including The Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center and Sidney Harman Hall.

A New Jersey native with an ambition beyond belief, Philpot, with the immeasurable amount of love and support from her loved ones, went from classical voice training at the Newark School of the Arts (Newark, NJ) to receiving her BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her post collegiate adventures began when she became a background vocalist for Tony Award nominated star of Disney’s The Lion King on Broadway (original Rafiki), Tsidii Le Loka. With a more colorful and expansive repertoire under her belt, Philpot was ready to have the time of her life when she was cast as the lead singer, Elizabeth, in the North American National Tour of Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage.

Twirling off the stage and onto the television, you can catch Philpot popping up in a host of commercials, industrials, tv shows and movies. She recently wrapped shooting as Belle in the upcoming short film, All We Have Left, starring Dree Hemingway and directed by Théo Mahy.

From the vibrant theatrical productions to the lights, camera, and action of the big screen, Erica is strutting with her long legs, flashing her electric smile and spreading love all over the place.
